Human Resources Coordinator

Hubbell Power Systems - Connectors Business Unit, is a leader in the Electrical Connectors business servicing the electrical utilities industry.  Hubbell Power Systems is seeking an experienced, qualified Human Resources Coordinator to support its machining and assembly operation located in Elkton, TN.

Some college coursework is preferred and three to five years of related experience is required.Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is essential.  Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Process payroll for the plant of approximately 100 employees.Administer health and welfare benefits, including Workers Compensation.Hire and coordinate the training of the hourly workforce.Support safety and environmental programs.Coordinate employee events.Maintain confidential personnel and medical files.Administer Human Resources policies and procedures.Support other functions within the plant as required.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively.  Microsoft office skills are a must, and SAP experience is a plus.
