Due to dynamic growth, the HR group is looking to add a member to their team.
We currently have an opening for a Human Resources Equity and Benefits Specialist
The Human Resources Equity and Benefits Specialist will be involved with complex duties following established procedures in the following areas: Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), Employee Stock Option Program (ESOP), Restricted Stock Unit Program (RSU), and 401(k) plan administration. This position will also cross train in other areas of benefit administration and payroll processing.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
Administration of the ESPP, ESOP, RSU plan and the 401(k) plan for the company.Assisting in areas of payroll, bank balancing, Worker?s Compensation, and other special projects as assigned.Cross training in the administration of various employee benefit programs such as medical, dental, life, and disability insurance.Coordinating procedures to initiate participation in equity and benefit programs.Implementing new equity and benefit programs; arranges and conducts employee information presentations and enrollments which may include limited travel.Verifying the calculation of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintains statistical data relative to premiums, claims, and costs. Resolves administrative problems with the carrier representatives.Preparing government reports; assists accounting department in preparation of required report forms such as the 5500.Recording, filing, and following up on return of completed forms; inputs information into HRIS and vendor databases.
Candidates must have the following qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university; Two (2) to four (4) years in equity plans and benefits administration; Working knowledge of the benefits, policies and procedures for dealing with employees and with outside benefit providers; Must be detail-oriented; Strong customer orientation; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships at all levels; Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
Additional qualifications that are preferred but not required include:Prior experience with ADP Payroll for Windows, HR Profile and Reportsmith;Advanced Excel skills.
