Human Resources Generalist

Description of Work:
Administer all terms and conditions of a collective bargaining agreement including interpretation of language, grievance investigation and resolution, employee discipline and wage administration. Responsibilities will also include activity associated with the negotiations of new collective bargaining agreements, union avoidance, Employment & Wage Administration. Whole Systems Architecture as well as disciplinary matters involving non represented employees. Involved in all aspects of HR activities including Security, Safety Compensation, Affirmative Action, Labor Relations, Workman's Compensation, Health insurance and Pension Benefits and advise, direct and provide consolation at a plant level of plant management.

Job Requirements:
Must be able to travel occasionally and have willingness based on circumstances to relocate in the future. Must have excellent PC skills with/ the ability to work comfortably with many software and database applications and platforms. This includes a familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access. Familiarity with employee computer base data tracking systems highly desired. Must be a strong advocate and have experience or familiarity with working in a team environment. Required to acquire a Government issued security clearance.
