We are a leading provider of e-commerce solutions that enable retailers, branded manufacturers, entertainment companies and professional sports organizations to operate e-commerce businesses. Since fiscal 2001, we have expanded our reach and now offer our solution to companies in seven additional retail categories: apparel, health & beauty, consumer electronics, entertainment, home, jewelry & luxury goods and toys. We provide e-commerce solutions for more than 50 partners. We provide solutions for our partners in the United States through our integrated e-commerce platform, which is comprised of three components: technology, logistics and customer care, and marketing services. We employ approximately 1,550 people, the majority of which are based at our headquarters in King of Prussia, Pa., our two fulfillment centers in Kentucky and our customer care center in Melbourne, FL. We also offer international e-commerce solutions through GSI Commerce Europe Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of GSI Commerce. GSI Commerce trades on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange under the symbol, GSIC. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for:

Search, recruit, and fill open jobs with qualified candidates in a timely manner.

Responsible for all aspects of the recruiting process which includes: finding resumes, setting up interviews, following up with managers, checking references, negotiating offers and processing offer letters.

Track candidate information through the hiring process (sources, # of interviews, interest/no interest, etc.).

Work with permanent placement agencies to find qualified candidates for specific hard to fill openings.

Work with hiring managers and ad agency to place Recruiting Help Wanted ads.

Post and update open positions on the recruiting sites.

Continually search out the top recruiting sites.

Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

Manages employee relation issues for dedicated areas.

Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.

Responsible for New Hire Orientation process that includes: Orientation presentation; New Hire paperwork process; employee database maintenance; communicate benefit information.

Work with temporary placement agencies to find qualified candidates for departments that request temporary help.

Assist Sr. Human Resources Manager to develop and implement a corporate training program.

Coordinate outside training for employees.


Experience - External:
BA/BS, 3-5 years HR experience.

Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.

Experience using the Internet as a recruiting tool.

Excellent negotiation, organizational, communication, and sales skills.

Ability to multi-task; a team player.
