Checkpoint Systems, Houston Print division, has an immediate opening for a Human Resource Manager in our Houston printing facility (SW Houston area)

Checkpoint Systems, Inc. is a leading provider of radio frequency-based product identification and shrink management solutions for retailers and consumer package goods manufacturers worldwide.

We are searching for candidates who possess HR technical and administrative skills with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resource for this 90+ employee printing facility. Responsibilities include administration of benefits, payroll and performance management processes; recruiting, and compliance; in addition to supporting management and employee?s to enhance a positive work environment. Position is also responsible for supervising facility and receptionist roles.

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills:

Minimum 5 years of progressive, related experience in a HR generalist role, in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor?s degree with an HR emphasis, or equivalent continuing education or HR certification, preferred.
Supervisory or proven leadership skills, a plus.
Working knowledge of state and federal regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; with ability to communicate within all levels of the organization. Must be a People person!
Strong software skills, including Word, Excel, and HR systems.
