PGT Industries, a leading manufacturer of custom windows and doors newly listed on the NASDAQ Exchange as PGTI with 2500 team members, has a challenging opportunity for an HR Generalist at our 725,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Venice, Florida.

 

Description:  The HR Generalist is responsible for the successful management of personnel practices and policies for assigned client groups. Responsibilities include policy interpretation and administration, employee relations, performance management, coaching, recruitment and retention, benefits and compensation, and other duties as necessary to ensure maximum effectiveness of the Human Resources function.

 

Skills/Qualifications: 

 

To be successful, the selected candidate should possess a BS in Business Administration, HR Management, or related field. Five+ years experience in human resources generalist role. Working knowledge of legislation pertaining to employment, compensation and benefits, and other related functions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and PC skills. Ability to coordinate multiple and changing priorities. Ability to occasionally travel domestically.
