Human Resources - Hands On Generalist

Newport Beach Corporate Defense Contractor offering an exceptional opportunity for a hands on  Human Resources Generalist with broad, considerable, and progressively responsible human resources management experience, including considerable experience in a supervisory capacity, experience in wage and compensation, benefits, recruitment, training, EEO, affirmative action, workers? compensation, writing policies and procedures, and employment law.

 

A Bachelor?s degree from a four year college or university with a major in personnel management, business administration or a related field or equivalent course work supplemented by course work in Compensation and Benefits and certification in Human Resources Management and Employee Relations.

 

Considerable knowledge of fair employment laws, non-discrimination regulations and government reporting and auditing practices; thorough knowledge of human resources functions and programs, including employee compensation, benefits, human resources information systems and safety management; thorough knowledge of administrative policies, practices and procedures, considerable knowledge of computer hardware and software uses, applications and functions, including human resources information systems,  spread sheet, and word processing programs; ability to select, train, supervise, assign, prioritize and coordinate the work of subordinate employees at the divisional levels; ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with intra and inter-division employees, management, governmental representatives and public and private representatives.
