Human Resources Manager
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER Our client is a respected and leading manufacturer , is in need of a Human Resources Manager to lead the team. The culture supports strong, self-reliant leadership capable of working in an evolving market.
This position will develop and manage the Human Resource functions of the company in support of corporate goals and objectives. The ability to understand the strategies and issues relative to multiple facilities and quickly assess the Human Resource impact and appropriate actions needed to support the company is critical. Administratively, the successful candidate will direct staffing, oversee training, develop performance goals and conduct evaluations of members on the team.
The following attributes are key to being considered:
? Minimum of 5 years of senior Human Resource Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
? Minimum of 5 years experience regarding Warn Issues, Labor Negotiations and/or Union Activities including: grievances, contract administration, avoidance strategies, acquisitions and negotiations.
? Management of legal resource relationship including: testifying in depositions and/or legal proceedings.
? Knowledge of employment law issues in multiple states, COBRA, FMLA, FLSA, ERISA, Drug Free Workplace Act, etc.
? Knowledge of non-compete and confidentiality agreements including drafting and enforcement in multiple states.
? Responds to EEOC and/or NLRB charges and handles appropriately. Preparation of ERD position statements.
? Demonstrated knowledge and experience in dealing with DOT regulations.
? Human Resource functions: Job Descriptions (i.e. definition of exempt and non-exempt employees), Recruitment, Benchmarking, Ability to transfer knowledge, Implement Change.

? Demonstrated knowledge and experience in creating and administering HRA?s and HSA?s.

? Demonstrated strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
