Human Resources Manager - Cypress, CA

The Opportunity Real Mex Restaurants has an opportunity for a Human Resources Manager who will work as a business partner with Operations in providing HR support to approximately 50 restaurants. There are four primary areas of responsibility:
 Management recruitment and selection
 Employee Relations/Complaint Resolution
 Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws
 Internal Consultant, advising management on a variety of value added services including performance management, succession planning, needs analysis, employee morale, retention strategies, etc.

This opportunity is available now and will be based in our restaurant support center, located in Cypress, CA. This position will require approximately 25% travel.

The Requirements
? Minimum two years HR experience working in a multi-unit retail environment, preferably restaurant
? 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
? Demonstrated proficiency in both recruitment and employee relations
? Thorough knowledge of Federal and State employment laws
? Excellent verbal communication skills and with the ability to listen attentively and actively
? Bi-Lingual English/Spanish a preferred
? Prior restaurant experience at any level is a plus
? The ability to travel up to 25% of the time
? 45-50 hour work week with occasional weekend work required
