Human Resources Manager - Part-time

A leading real estate private equity firm located in Palo Alto, CA, is seeking a part-time Human Resources Manager to work 20-25 hours a week on-site. We are looking for a person who will be hands-on and can manage the day-to-day HR operations of the organization as well as lead and supervise the Company?s administrative staff. The successful candidate will have well-rounded experience in both the administrative and strategic functions of Human Resources.

 

Position Description
This position will be responsible for all Human Resource activities including but not limited to:Payroll administrationBenefits administration (health insurance, FSA, 401k, workers comp, vacation)Staffing and recruitmentAnnual review coordinationProcessing terminationsImplementing, coordinating and administering corporate human resource policies and proceduresDesigning and implementing employee relations and training programs as needed

 

Qualifications Minimum of five to seven years of experience in Human ResourcesStrong written and communication skills, as well as a high degree of professionalism are required. Will need to rely on experience and judgment to plan and complete all HR-related duties and must possess the ability lead and direct the work of others.  Must be proficient with MS Office products and have the ability to independently navigate various HR related systems.Experience with Paychex desiredBA/BS in Human Resources Administration, Communication, or related field

 

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the real estate or private equity space and will be comfortable working and communicating with members of all levels within the organization.
