The company also operates two wholly-owned subsidiaries; Transcraft® Corporation, a manufacturer of flatbed and drop deck trailers; and Wabash National Trailer Centers, a retail distributor of new and used trailers and aftermarket parts throughout the U.S. and Canada.Professional who desires a fast-paced, challenging environment!Partner with and provide H.R. support and services to business unit teams and associates throughout the organization. General responsibilities include supervisor development, investigation assistance, employee initiatives, handling employee disciplinary action and employment issues, interpreting company policy and procedures and assuring compliance with state and federal laws, new hire orientation, recruiting and additional daily responsibilities corresponding to company goals all with strict adherence to confidentiality. Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, outstanding interpersonal & communication skills, personal integrity and exhibit the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May lead and direct the work of others. Knowledge of 401k administration, insurances, and exposure to an HRIS system is preferred.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate is pro-active, self-managing, thrives on change, is extremely dependable and is able to meet shifting deadlines in a very fast-paced environment. Enthusiasm and energetic approach in this service-oriented department is a must. Five plus years related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is required. PHR/SPHR certification strongly preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
