Human Resources - Recruiting Specialist
Recruiting and Human Resource Specialist
Woodstream Corporation, the world?s leading manufacturer of low-toxic pest control, small animal caring and control, and wild bird feeding products, is seeking an energetic individual to join our Corporate Human Resources Team.
Salary Range: $40-45K + Bonus
This position supports and routinely leads numerous activities in the Human Resources work center. Key areas of responsibility are employee recruitment, orientation and retention. Routinely communicates and problem solves with employees, Supervisors and Managers. Also performs administrative responsibilities to support the needs of the position and the Human Resources work center.
Job Functions
1. Key lead position focusing on daily management of our recruiting processes for exempt/non-exempt positions for the Company including subsidiaries.
2. Maintain, process improve and facilitate employee orientation programs for the Company including subsidiaries.
3. Maintain, process improve and facilitate employee events and retention-based activities for the Company including subsidiaries.
4. Perform routine analysis of data to problem solve on a regular basis, focusing on our recruiting resources and employee retention.
5. Assist in implementation and support compliance for policies, procedures and benefit programs on a company-wide basis.
6. Any other Human Resources functions/general responsibilities as assigned.
Profile
1. Ability to effectively communicate with applicants, recruiters, mangers and employees at all levels of the corporation in a courteous and professional manner.
2. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
3. Ability to multi-task and coordinate various activities simultaneously.
4. Exceptional skill in using computer software, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
5. Strong organizational skills; ability to meet constant deadlines.
6. Flexible; quickly responds/adapts to change in an environment with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities.
7. Knowledge of human resource practices and procedures.
8. Ability to travel occasionally to other subsidiaries
9. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
10. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Bachelor?s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources focus desired. Minimum of 3 yrs. experience with recruiting, preferably for a manufacturing companyDemonstrated ability to meet the analytical and problem solving requirements of this position.Additional Human Resources training or education helpful
