Job Description: Senior Manager, Human Resources If you are looking to take your career to the next level, this is the opportunity for you.
This newly created position is responsible for the management of the daily operations of various Human Resources areas.
The selected person will have 8+ years of progressive HR experience in a professional services company with strong leadership skills, flexibility and be a team player. Must have the ability to accept and manage ambiguity and complexity and guide others in dealing effectively with change barriers and constraints.
Essential Functions
Management of daily information, communications, new hire processing and other transactional processing.
Oversee and provide guidance to staff transactions, and benefits area including processes for terminating staff, leave of absence activity, schedule changes, alternative work arrangements, transfers and relocation, medical, dental, FSAâ??s, etc.
Manage the AAP (with 3rd party outsource provider) and EEO1 reporting process.
Manage the internal practice and procedures to ensure compliance in all HR areas related to state and federal regulations.
Assist with employee relation issues.
Assist in the negotiation of annual group insurance benefit plan renewals.
Assist with litigation activities related to HR issues.
Ensure policy and procedures are reviewed and revised
Supervision and coaching/development of staff.
