Immediate Opening: Human Resources/Payroll Coordinator


 


Job Type: Full Time


 


Location: Lake Seminole Square, Seminole, FL


 


Lake Seminole Square is primarily Independent Living (305) condos and small Assisted Living (34 apartments).The position of HR/Payroll Coordinator implements, and oversees compliance with payroll and human resources policies and functions such as employment, benefits, workers? compensation, training, employee relations, and communications. Specific responsibilities include:


 


-facilitate the recruitment efforts, new hire process and orientation.


 


-Process payroll, benefit education/administration, training and development, safety program, and workers compensation.


 


-Reviews wages to assure competitiveness and fairness.


 


-Process reports for payroll.


 


-Support leadership by providing perspective or technical assistance.


 


-Coordinates and participates in interview process.


 


-Distributes and reviews information of retention, safety performance, and benefits.


 


-Process and challenge unemployment claims and workers compensation claims in conjunction with Executive Director and Regional HR.


 


-Perform other duties as assigned by Executive Director.


We seek the following qualifications:


 


* Minimum of 3 years experience in payroll/HR.


* College degree preferred in related area (Human Resource Management, Business, Organizational Development) or equivalent experience.
* Senior Living experience a plus
