The Position:  Human Resources and Safety Manager

 

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources and Safety Manager will provide HR Generalist support while implementing and managing safety programs from our Dallas, Texas Corporate headquarters. 

 

The selected candidate will have the ability to develop relationships with and influence mangers and staff at all levels within the organization in a diplomatic and constructive manner.  Primary responsibilities will include recruiting, employee relations, policy and procedure development and implementation.  Risk management responsibilities will include workers compensation tracking, analysis and prevention activities.  Performing branch safety evaluations and ensuring follow through on corrective actions.  Must have the ability to raise awareness and knowledge levels of unsafe behaviors and implement practical programs and solutions.  


Selected candidate will have a Bachelors Degree and 3-5 years experience as an HR Manager with working knowledge of all state and federal employment laws including, but not limited to, ADA, FMLA, FLSA and Title VII.  PHR certification preferred.  Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both oral and written combined with strong computer skills using MS Word, Power Point and Excel.  Highly developed analytical, planning and organizational skills required.  Anticipate 10-20% travel.
