Immigration Analyst-Direct at Hitachi GST

THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE WITH HITACHI GST

Proposes, develops and implements Hitachi GST immigration policies and practices
Actively participates in the establishment and accomplishment of immigration program goals. Problem solves, makes recommendations and proposes business solutions on immigration related issues. Develops and maintains immigration system, processes and procedures which includes but is not limited to managing active immigration case files (est. 75-100 cases per year), tracking/monitoring/coordination/facilitation; Gathers and analyzes data; Generates various reports (e.g. immigration status for current employees, visa expiration dates, total program cost, etc.) Advises and guides managers on immigration procedures and how employees can maintain employability
With the manager, develops basic training guide, information and communications for managers on immigration procedures. Addresses concerns with export-import team and management where job applicants are from restricted countries.
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of related immigration experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience
Basic knowledge of HRIS, particularly PeopleSoft
Preferred
Previous experience as a Staffing, Employment or Human Resources Representative
