Pembrooke Occupational Health is a growing employment drug testing and risk-management firm?located in the West End of Richmond, VA.? Pembrooke has a national client base that includes Waste Management, Advance Auto, and the U.S. Department of the Interior.? We?have 100?employees, are heavily dependent on technology and financial systems and it is critical that we maintain the highest quality staff possible.

Responsibilities:Work with hiring managers to fulfill departmental staffing needs. Develop/implement and execute recruitment strategies for all exempt and non-exempt level positions which include a behavioral interviewing approach. Identify, screen, interview and select quality candidates for a variety of positions predominantly in the IT and Finance Departments & distribute resumes of qualified candidates to the hiring managers. Manage all aspects of the external recruitment process including candidate tracking. Write job descriptions and job advertisements Ensure that recruitment strategy is timely and cost effective with goal of limiting fee-based hires.? Ensure Company image remains positive in the eyes of candidates, the community and our customers. File and maintain employment records for future references. Develop and maintain applicant flow information by department or division. Pro actively utilize the Internet for recruiting, along with advertising, job fairs, open houses, interview teleconferencing, and networking with professional organizations and associations to increase applicant pool. Ensure on-boarding process is completed with newly hired associates. Provide expert knowledge regarding employment laws to hiring managers.

Compensation

Base salary plus additional compensation will be based on hiring cost to compensation of new hires and time-to-fill metrics and longevity of new hires.

Future Track

This position could involve into an HR Manager position as the company grows.

RequirementsSuccessful track record in hiring IT and/or accounting professionals. Ability to get along well with all levels of personnel from mail room staff to the Chairman. Project a professional image. Strong interviewing and communication skills Software Development fundamentals Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws relating to hiring. Degree from a four-year university?preferred. Sense of humor required.
