Internal Audit and Controls Director

Jefferson Wells is a rapidly growing, global provider of professional services in the areas of risk, controls, compliance & financial process improvement. The firm specializes in internal audit, technology risk management, tax & accounting & finance. From its 45 offices, it serves the middle-market through Fortune 1000 companies, including more than half the Fortune 500.
Develop & execute strategic plan for IA Services. Drive development of the IA solution area with growth & profitability; providing technical expertise; & maintaining & leveraging a network of clients & contacts.
Responsibilities: Serve as advisor to clients; Manage, direct, & monitor client services teams on engagements; Create plans to support fee estimates, assign resources, & oversee delivery of services; Oversee: construction audit & advisory, contract compliance, COSO enterprise risk assessments, reporting audits, fraud & forensic investigations, IT audits, IA co-sourcing & outsourcing, operational audits, regulatory compliance, SOX compliance; & Set annual revenue goals.
Bachelor's degree required; Min 12 + yrs of clearly progressive, professional development in IA; Min 5 yrs in a leadership role; Experience in fraud risk management, fraud handling or litigation support; Experience of excellent performance, management capability, & revenue growth; Ability to drive a business including selling, work plan development, proposal writing, & overseeing service delivery; Successfully sell & cross market various firm services; Effective communication; Participate in marketing & delivering engagements outside of immediate area for periods of time; Entrepreneurial; customer service; Communicate & interact effectively; CIA, CPA/CA CISA, CFA or advanced degree MBA or equivalent preferred.
