Internal Mobility Specialist

The Internal Mobility Specialist will develop and deliver internal recruitment services to the client in line with agreed Service Levels and in accordance with the client?s Internal Mobility policies. A key component of the role is to provide a highly responsive and professional service to the client?s employees who are embarking on a career/role change while advising the client on best practice on mobility.

 Responsibilities:


Client Focus

? Provide consultative service to clients, by providing comprehensive information and feedback on internal candidates throughout the assessment process

? Add value to their business area through awareness and understanding of skills, trends and market knowledge

? Provide guidance to clients on appropriate salary/compensation packages for internal applicants, in accordance with the mobility policy and internal grading structure

? Advise clients/managers whose staff will be transferring to other internal roles, agreeing a plan to backfill the position if appropriate and passing such vacancy on to the right recruiter within the lateral recruiting team

? Ensure all of the client?s mobility policies and procedures are fully adhered to

? Participate in any relevant client presentations / review meetings / redeployment meetings

? Ensure all internal mobility applications are processed and tracked through the correct authorization channels

? Produce timely and accurate reporting of activity on internal moves

 



Candidate Focus

? Provide consultative service to internal candidates, gaining a full understanding of their skills/background/motivation/aspirations and matching them to relevant vacancies

? Knowledgeable on the client?s organizational structure and business areas so that it can be comprehensively presented to internal candidates

? Conduct in-depth assessment of internal candidates; matching and presenting candidates to relevant business areas

? Provide comprehensive feedback to candidates, handling all discussions sensitively and in line with local legislation

? Responsible for developing a pro-active and responsive approach to internal mobility and candidate management

? Maintain high levels of candidate and vacancy control through workflow management systems

? Demonstrate ability to negotiate salaries within internal compensation guidelines

? Recruit at all levels (to executive)


Team Focus:

? Ability to effectively brief the Recruiting Manager on all aspects of internal moves, forecasting team performance and highlighting issues for escalation

? Assist in the growth and development of junior team members

? Identify training needs for team and develop training plans

? Ensure a cohesive and highly motivated team environment with responsibility for effective skills transfer and knowledge share

? Collaborate on account reviews, modification of procedure and liaison with middle and back office to provide seamless delivery and service to account

? Ability to communicate trend fluctuations, business updates and market changes to the rest of the team.

 



Requirements & Qualifications:


? Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in recruitment or internal mobility/redeployment, preferably in Investment Banking or related disciplines

? Proven track record in delivering effective client solutions

? Face to face interviewing experience

? Experienced at producing business orientated management information

? Experience of designing and implementing recruiting solutions for clients

? Working to demanding targets and ratios

? Strong product and market knowledge

? Excellent communication and presentation skills

? Strong networking and negotiation skills

? Full understanding of the recruitment lifecycle, internal corporate policies and ability to deliver within both

? Project planning or campaign management experience

? Ability to work to tight SLAs

? Knowledge of best practice on internal mobility/redeployment policies

? Bachelor?s Degree

? US Work Authorization required
