The Large Employer- Major Account Representative sells profitable, quality Human Resource business solutions to new and/or existing accounts with 1,000 to 10,000 employees. Emphasis is placed on repetitive revenue business solutions that will result in highly satisfied, long-term customers.


Responsibilities:Identify prospects within assigned territory and provide accurate forecast and activity reports to management.Analyze business opportunities within assigned customer base, ensuring that all Ceridian products and services have been thoroughly presented and sales cycle professionally executed. Stay informed of new products and use that knowledge to analyze prospect needs to present appropriate product solutions and demonstrations. Involve Ceridian product specialists when necessary. Share competitive information with other representatives.Prepare contracts and pricing strategies for targeted accounts. Submit all associated paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.Work with the installation team and Account Executive to ensure a smooth transition. Maintain favorable customer contact for first 12 months of processing to sell additional products and services, to ensure customer satisfaction and to establish references. Keep management apprised on customer situations and competitors as appropriate.Maintain prospect and territory database automated tools.Mentor to other National Account Representatives.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of previous sales experience, or equivalent education/experience. Knowledge of Human Resources or Payroll preferred.Must possess effective oral and written communication skills and be able to work independently in order to effectively negotiate sales. Familiarity with PCs and software is required. Must have proven sales skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Payroll or Human Resources to include: Signature Payroll, Tax Filing product knowledge, Certification on Source 500 products and sales automation tools, Ceridian Hire-to-Retire Product offerings.



Position may be located in a district or virtual office. Automobile and airline travel required.


Preferred regional locations: West Coast and Southern Mid West.
