Learning Coordinator (130257-483)

As a Learning Coordinator you will provide administrative, scheduling, and general logistical support for the Learning Team and Val University.

Responsibilities and Duties:
 * Provide administrative support for the Learning Team. Duties may include completing travel arrangements for the staff, processing supply orders, completing requests for payment, writing business justification forms, and maintaining productivity reports, evaluation summaries and other statistical reports.
 * Produce, maintain and/or assemble learning packets, materials and resources to support the Learning team for Learning events and Val University.
 * Create and maintain a system to retain and manage participant and facilitator guides and manuals.
 * Create and maintain a system of registration and attendance for learning events.
 * Maintain records and reports for the PC training on-line registration process.
 * Coordinate catering, room set-up, and room reservation, as well as registration and attendance for all Learning events and Val University.
 * Generate reports, rosters and maintain an updated email system in order to effectively distribute information to participants.
 * Maintain Learning group productivity reports, evaluation summaries and other statistical reports.
 * Maintain and manage the communications process for all Val University course announcements, registration, reminders, confirmations and reassignments. Maintain records of attendance.
 * Retrieve data from registration information to create annual reports on attendance and evaluations of Val U. courses.
 * Manage the monthly budget reporting process.
 * Assist with maintenance and improvement of the Learning website on AdvantaNet.
 * Work with the Director to assure that administrative back up processes are clearly documented and understood; and that the Utah Learning Coordinator is prepared to run the Val U processes when necessary.


Requirements:
 * High School degree or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
 * 1-3 years equivalent work experience required.
 * Strong Excel, Word and Power Point skills needed; Access knowledge and ability also helpful.
 * Experience creating and maintaining systems for information retrieval, electronic and hard copy files preferred.
 * Ability to process financial requests, prepare materials packets, and arrange facilities needed.
 * Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail essential. Strong emphasis on accuracy and follow through a must.
 * Excellent oral and written communication skills.
 * Flexibility, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to manage complex planning activities are essential.
 * Strong and demonstrated customer service orientation is essential.
