Learning and Development Specialist

JOB TITLE: Learning & Development Training Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
LOCATION: Kansas City, Missouri

POSITION SUMMARY:
Proactively designs and implements best practices and procedures relating to organizational development and performance initiatives. Facilitates, tracks, and monitors change management processes associated with culture transition activities.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES:

? Partner with other L&D Specialist to facilitate Customer Service, Sales and Marketing training programs
? Proactively develops Customer Service, Sales and Marketing and other departments learning and development needs
? Proactively develops and implements various product, sales, & methods & procedures training content based on the needs of the business for Customer Service, Field Services, Telemarketing, Direct Sales, Inbound Sales, Customer Service, and other departments
? Facilitate, monitor, and track 30-60-90 day performance reviews after Representatives leave training
? Review and Approve New Hire Employees timecards in Kronos
? Provide consulting for Management on their training needs
? Supervise new hires while in training, ensuring an effective on-boarding to the organization
? Develop on-line assessments in the Learning Content Management System (LCMS)
? Proactively drive a culture that embraces challenge & change
? Proactively build effective relationships at all employee levels, especially partnering with front line supervisors, to support a positive work environment
? Understand and demonstrate strong behaviors as a change agent, functional expert, employee advocate, and strategic business partners with all employees
? Research innovative ways of developing & facilitating training that will help drive business
? Other duties as assigned

SCOPE:
This position will have responsibility to design, facilitate, and monitor organizational development and performance programming, partnering with other Human Resource professionals, for the TWCKC Division.

Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resource Development or related fields with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Understanding and experience using performance management and change management principles. Experience with needs assessment tools and related processes. Demonstrated skill in forward-thinking, teamwork, coaching, and influencing others are critical to be successful in this position. Must be high energy! Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills at various employee levels required. Excellent facilitation skills are a must. Self-motivated and a demonstrated passion to spearhead change within the Division. Project management experience is required. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products. SHRM, Training and/or Development certification preferred.
