JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for the day to day administration of company-sponsored leave of absence programs, including documentation, letters, developing and maintaining SOPs, database management, payroll and benefits administration to maintain compliance with company leave policies and government regulations and laws. It requires the ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee relations issues and to communicate with all levels of Team Members, management, internal departments and outside vendors. This position will provide ongoing training to HR, supervisory and management on leave of absence processes. Provides backup to the day-to-day administration of the employee benefits programs as needed to meet the overall objectives of the Benefits Department.
REQUIREMENTS:
? Proficient in Word and Outlook. Basic to intermediate knowledge of Access and Excel. Hands on exposure to HRIS or payroll systems a plus.
? Excellent customer service and written communication skills.
? Ability to articulate ideas and policies in an easy to understand manner, both telephonically and in person.
? Ability to facilitate meetings or training individually or in a group setting.
? Strong problem solving skills.
? Flexible and able to maintain thoroughness and accuracy while meeting exacting deadlines.
? Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
? Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.
? High school diploma, college preferred, and at least one year of recent work experience, in a human resources function, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Consideration will be given to related work experience in lieu of higher education.
This position requires someone with a high degree of integrity, ability to maintain confidentiality at all times, and who demonstrates a sense of urgency, purpose, good organizational skills and teamwork.
