ME Consultant II/Director

This position will be part of the Fidelity Human Resources Services Company (FHRS) Management Effectiveness Team.  This role requires an individual who has the capability to articulate and maintain HR standards. Individual must thrive in working in a dynamic environment, be skilled in working with senior management teams, and be a team player.


Key Responsibilities
o Act as consultant, advisor, facilitator and business partner with management by thoroughly understanding the business issues of the unit and designing HR strategies to resolve identified business issues.

o Provide consultative HR services to client organization in the areas of organization design and planning, management/talent development and coaching, skills development, strategic recruiting/staffing, performance management and compensation, and communication/change management.
o Partner with business unit to develop appropriate HR interventions to increase organizational and team effectiveness.

o Drive business unit talent development, development planning, and succession planning.

o Assist in coordinating recruiting/staffing activity and liaison with staffing representative.
o Manage the delivery of Fidelity wide programs, such as cycle management for merit review, share and bonus cycles as well as other ongoing organizational maintenance activities. o Lead people projects/initiatives as required.
o Work in a team environment within FESCo HR and corporate partners to deliver HR services to the client organization.

o Ability to consult with multiple levels of management to determine and resolve HR implications inherent to business strategy

o Ability to interface and effectively influence at all levels of the organization

o Sound judgment, organizational awareness and strong relationship building skills

o Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as group and meeting facilitation skills
