Right now, we?re seeking an individual, with a strong business management background, to assume responsibility for the research, tracking and management of our contingent workforce across North America.
In this newly created position at our headquarters in Madison, NJ, you will manage the overall relationship between Maersk and the vendors who assist us in managing contingent workforce volume. Working as a liaison between vendors and internal customers, you will be responsible for verifying contract fulfillment, ensuring that expenses are accurate, and negotiating initial and renewal terms of agreement. You?ll also work with finance, legal and administrative personnel to ensure smooth implementation of these agreements.
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration/Finance and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience with a focus on purchasing, procurement and/or IT or HR vendor management. Experience working with temporary employment agencies and strong project management skills are required. Candidates must also have demonstrated ability in the areas of negotiation, ROI analysis, cost-benefit and break-even points, and an understanding of vendor/third-party benchmarking. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are required.
