Manager, Diverse Talent Acquisition

Source and attract high caliber candidates to create talent pipeline to ensure diverse candidate slates.

Develop and manage strategic talent pipelines and sourcing channels.

Provide consultation and advice to Talent Acquisition Leaders and staffing recruiters on strategic diverse talent sourcing strategies. Partner with recruiters on all aspects of hiring diverse candidates.

Research external market and demographic changes related to impact on future talent pool. Research external best practices and sourcing trends. Develop strategies to address and implement.

Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with external professional associations to develop talent pipeline. (i.e., National Black MBA Association, National Society of Hispanic MBAs, NABA, etc.)

Serve as Project Leader to successfully execute on Amex's participation in key national and local diversity recruiting events.

Develop and implement external diversity recruitment communication and media strategy

Prepare reports for key internal constituents, including recruiting leaders, HR Relationship Leaders, the Diversity & Inclusion team and others. Track and communicate outcomes of all diversity recruitment initiatives.

Proven experience in development/execution of diversity recruitment initiatives.
Strong knowledge of recruiting marketplace trends and best practices.
Understanding of sourcing techniques & ability to research & create new sourcing tools/channels.
Ability to travel 30% both local and national.
Minimum 5 years recruiting experience, preferably in financial services
Demonstrated usage and success in internet/E-recruiting and external sourcing channels
Must be a self starter and self manager with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Results driven with the ability to effectively influence outcomes
Strong strategic and analytical skills. Innovative and creative thinker
Proven solution orientation and problem solving skills
Exceptionally solid oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
Team player able to operate effectively within a complex environment
Bachelor's degree, Masters preferred
