Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies Sector is seeking an experienced Manager - HR Initiatives for our Bridgeton, MO location.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for driving multiple HR initiatives focused on standardization of HR policies, procedures and work practices within our North America Branch operations. Incumbent will collaborate with key stakeholders (Operations Directors, Senior Management, Sector Centers of HR Excellence, Technicians, Lean Leaders, Finance Managers, Operational Excellence team members, Service/Install Managers, etc.) to manage multiple projects/initiatives that establish consistent, quality HR policies and procedures that adhere to Sector and enterprise-wide guidelines, policies and principles. Initiatives will focus on improving employee effectiveness, cost of operations, employee morale as well as contribute to Climate Control Technologies being viewed as an "Employer of Choice".
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Standardize policies and processes to create consistency within branch operations. Collaborate with key stakeholders managing multiple projects/initiatives in development of best practices to support business operations.
Institutionalize processes within branch organization focusing on employee effectiveness and employee morale, including new hire orientation, technician PMP, referral program, development plans as well as technician incentive plan.
Standardize Pay Practices among branch operations: Travel Pay; Overtime / Premium workdays (i.e. Sunday hours); Call-in pay / On-call pay (start with nonunion facilities but work with future contracts to negotiate to our standard vision where possible).
Working with Technician Recruiter, lead implementation of programs and processes to track tech turnover, analyze reasons and reduce voluntary turnover.
Work with IR University and COE Team to establish programs to develop future Branch Management.
Other projects as needed, to include sector training sessions, leadership meetings.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in business or related area with 5-7 years experience in human resources.
Generalist human resources background in recruitment, labor relations, employee retention, training and development, compensation and benefit programs, as well as the application of legal and government compliance guidelines required.
Position requires 25 - 50 % travel to learn environment and develop alliances in the field. Travel is predominantly domestic to branch locations.
Must have knowledge & experience working w/ HR systems.
Strong team facilitation skills and demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects.
Adept PC skills with a strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and Word.
