This role is responsible for the design, implementation, communication, ongoing review, and management of all health and welfare plans across 5 Novartis Consumer Health businesses and Sandoz. This role ensures cost effectiveness, employee satisfaction, and legal compliance of H&W and ancillary benefit plans.

Accountabilities:
Act as primary Divisional liaison to plan vendors including administrator(s), health plans, other third party vendors, and other Novartis businesses.
Ensure vendors fullfil contractual obligations and provide responsive service to the Company and employees.
Provide ongoing review of plan designs for utilization and cost effectiveness, employee satisfaction. Make recommendations for changes as appropriate.
Manage annual and ongoing communication efforts for all H&W and ancillary benefits.
Act as 3rd level support for claims and issue resolution.
Lead special H&W projects such as RFP, contract negotiations, M&A activity, etc.
Manage and coordinate wellness and health management initiatives.
PLEASE NOTE:
This position is listed as Duluth, GA. however candidates situated in other Novartis locations may be considered for local placement in Parsippany NJ, Minneapolis, MN, Greensboro NC, or Princeton, NJ.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in HR, Bus Admin or related field, Masters degree preferred. CEBS or CBP certification preferred.
Experience:
9-12 years of hands-on experience managing H&W benefits in a complex, multi-unit, multi-site corporate environment. Extensive knowledge of plan design, pricing, administration, vendor management, compliance, and communication. Benefits consulting experience is desirable.
