Summary:

We are seeking an experienced human resource professional to support our growing organization. In this position you will develop business partnerships to support HR policies, programs, and procedures to meet established goals and foster an environment of continuous improvement and professional development.

Duties:Assist with the implementation of strategic initiatives to support the needs of site business units, particularly regarding recruitment, retention and employee development. In addition, this person will be responsible for raising the collective level of performance of the staffing function between HR and the business unitsPrimary responsibilities will be to design and deliver effective recruiting strategies and use best practices to source, attract, screen, recruit, and select quality candidates for key positions.Oversee employee relations by assisting managers, supervisors and leads by engaging employees through coaching and counseling for problem resolution and improved employee performance.  Provide ongoing consultation and support to site management in all HR-related initiatives to ensure legal compliance, policy compliance, and fair treatment for all parties involvedEnsure cost effective management of the site HR department and all site eventsCommunicate changes in Human Resources policies and procedures and ensure proper compliance is followed, consult with legal counsel as appropriate and/or as directed on litigation matters, work directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on employment matters

 

Specs:    

Bachelor's or equivalent experience; Masters preferred. 5+ years of experience in human resource administration with 2-4 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience is requiredProven experience designing and delivering effective recruiting strategies and using best practices to source, attract, screen, recruit, and select quality candidates for key positions.Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, and negotiation, and personnel information systems. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources. 2 years experience interacting with upper management teamsStrong computer and analytical skills. Strong document preparation skillsAbility to handle stress and multiple projects with competing interests for time
