Manager, Retirement Plans

 ServiceMaster provides service to 10.5 million residential and commercial customers in the United States each year. Our core services include lawn care and landscape maintenance, termite and pest control, plumbing, heating and air conditioning maintenance and repair, appliance maintenance and repair, cleaning and furniture maintenance and home warranties.  Some of the ServiceMaster brands are: TruGreen ChemLawn, Terminix, American Home Shield, and Merry Maids.

ServiceMaster is currently seeking a Manager of Retirement Plans to report to the VP of Benefits in its corporate office in Memphis, TN.  The Manager of Retirement Plans will be responsible for managing the company?s retirement and savings program, including 401(k), deferred compensation, and employee stock purchase plans. The Manager of Retirement Plans will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with ERISA and applicable regulations, administration, vendor management, communications, deferred compensation annual enrollment, and employee education and training. 

 

The Manager of Retirement Plans position will:

?  Monitor the plan investment offerings in conjunction with financial advisors and develop required documentation

?  Manage the development and implementation of plan strategy and design

?  Direct the plan oversight committee meetings in the review of plan administration, strategy and design

?  Manage business partners in the delivery of excellent customer service

?  Coordinate and participate in annual qualified plan audit with internal and external accountants

?  Manage the acquisition, merger, integration, and divestiture activities for related retirement plans

?  Participate in the design and development of plan communication materials

?  Supervise the Retirement Plans staff

Successful candidates for the Manager of Retirement Plans will possess:

?  A Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree and/or professional designation and a plus

?  5 to 8 years of experience in qualified and non-qualified savings plan management and administration is required

?  A comprehensive knowledge of laws applicable to qualified and non-qualified retirement savings plans and of investment products and financial markets is required

?  Experience with health and welfare plans is a plus

?  Ability to manage vendors or business partners
