Manager of Human Resources - JasmineSola

JasmineSola, a Boston-based women's retailer of upscale and contemporary apparel, footwear and accessories is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Manager of Human Resources to be based in New York City at New York & Company Brand Headquarters.

 

JasmineSola, a wholly owned subsidiary of New York & Company, was founded in 1970 in Harvard Square and offers women a unique shopping experience, including sought after brands and the latest fashions in a boutique environment. 

 

The Human Resources Manager, Jasmine Sola is responsible for building a partnership with Senior Management of Jasmine Sola and Corporate New York & Company Human Resources to accomplish the following: 

 Provide employee relations support/counseling to all Jasmine Sola associates Partner with management on the development of internal talent and the structure of the organization Partner with management on the Training & Development necessary to align associates with the proper brand identityRecruit for open positions, ensuring openings are being filled efficiently and with the appropriate talent Investigate all harassment/discrimination claims Oversee legal compliance issues Update policies and procedures when necessary

 

 

The successful candidate will have 6-8 years of previous HR experience, preferably in a retail environment.  In addition, you must be an organized individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to balance multiple and competing projects. The ability to develop relationships with all levels of the organization, including senior management, is essential to success.  Will require travel to our Boston, Massachusetts Offices.
