AirTran Airways is currently seeking a Manager of Interline Travel

 

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Interline and Pass Bureau Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining relations between AirTran Airways and other airlines as well as managing all processes related to pass travel.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage Pass Bureau Crew MembersNegotiate contracts with other airlinesEstablish and maintain policies and procedures relating to pass travelRepresent AirTran Airways in a pass travel capacity to other airlinesConduct investigations relating to pass travel abuseImplement controls to avoid/eliminate pass travel abuse Lead the design and implementation of the Pass Bureau Automation projectCreate and manage solutions for interline e-ticketingCreate effective ways of communicating with Crew Members companywide Manage and report pass travel revenue figures to the Vice President of Human ResourcesManage and ensure resources are adequate for an efficient operationResearch and initiate new sources of revenueEnsure compliance with internal and external controls and develop new procedures when requiredUpdate and maintain all Pass Travel material, including online contentPosition requires travel

 

QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor?s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications or related disciplineHandle multiple tasks in a fast paced environmentAt least two years of management or supervisory experienceExtremely organized and detail orientedAirline industry experience requiredCourteous and professional mannerExcellent verbal and written communication skills

? Excellent computer skills with proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher etc.)Knowledge of Flight Speed/New Skies and/or any other CRS is mandatoryCreative and innovative with a passion for people and travel!
