MANAGER OF RECRUITING

 

 

NATURE OF JOB

 

The position is responsible for developing, managing, evaluating, and maintaining the Seminole Tribe of Florida?s recruitment strategies and processes. This will include proactively sourcing, screening, interviewing, and making recommendations to hiring managers. Ensures that the recruitment process is effectively maintained, updated and streamlined according to organizational needs. The individual in this position is also responsible for timely and accurate submission of monthly recruitment reports.  Reviews employment trends and make recommendations for effective recruitment sources and retention of staff. Represent the Seminole Tribe at external recruitment events, meetings and employee activities as appropriate. Identifies and create job placement opportunities for STOF tribal members, employees and other Native Americans. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources and is an exempt.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMinimum seven (7)  years Human Resources experience.Minimum 3-5 years supervisory recruitment experience and in related Human Resources areas.Knowledge of a variety of recruitment advertising sources and media including internet recruiting.Strong computer skills (MS Office). Knowledge of Lawson, HRIS System preferred.Ability to recruit in a high volume environment.Ability to maintain the requisition and hiring processes.  Will identify operational barriers to recruitment and make recommendations and create fresh solutions to those barriers.Excellent follow-up skills.Ability to anticipate problems and to work creatively to find solutions.Ability to understand, research, and resolve problems and to handle unexpected situations.Demonstrated ability to respond positively in a time-pressured environment. Knowledge and/or experience working with Native American culture is helpful.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Valid Florida Drivers License.Willing to travel as needed to other reservations or recruitment events.Native American Heritage Preferred.Bachelor?s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Master?s Degree preferred.
