Manager of Training and Education
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this position is responsible for developing, planning, implementing, directing and evaluating education, training/development, and succession planning initiatives designed to enhance employee and organizational performance. Acts as educational and training resource to management and employees of ITxM and its? affiliates by insuring that recurring and required training is completed in a timely manner. Coordinates other training and continuing education programs involving external providers. This position requires a Bachelors degree in a related field or at least 10 years of teaching/training equivalent. 5+ years of training experience in developing and delivering adult education programs and curricula in a corporate or business setting, in human resources; personnel, or administration. Ability to write curricula and course materials; reports, correspondence, policies and procedures and speeches/presentations conforming to prescribed style and format. Ability to apply principals of logic and scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of technical and research based information presented in verbal, mathematical, and diagram form and apply it to practical and leaning situations. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables. Candidate must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to develop and proof training materials.
