Who is our ideal candidate?
* Minimum 5 years business experience, preferably in financial services required
* At least 3 - 5 years experience managing marketing and communications projects preferred
* College degree or equivalent experience preferred
* Strong oral and written communications skills
* Experience interacting with members of upper management
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills with experience of having worked in matrix organizations preferred
* Ability to work independently and under pressure of deadlines and conflicting priorities
* Careful, consistent attention to detail
* Strong PC skills including word processing, spreadsheet development and analysis, and presentation software, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
What are the job responsibilities?
* Plan, organize and lead projects across the organization, determining tasks associated with each project and coordinating them with representatives of teams from each area affected by the project.
* Manage project initiation, requirements analysis, draft text and creative development, implementation and on-going monitoring, including tracking specific project metrics.
* Responsible for the timely, high-quality completion of assigned projects. Develops and updates project plans listing the tasks, resources, target dates and status.
* Conduct status meetings to monitor the progress of each project and resolve any issues which impede the progress of the project.
* Plan, coordinate and manage all internal and external mass communications to the field. This comprises emails, newsletters, advertorials and websites, including managing and updating online content.
* Work with leaders, registered representatives, and subject matter experts to write and develop communications for distribution to the field.
* Develop content for marketing collaterals to meet various business needs. This includes managing inventory, reorders, billing, and working with ordering system vendor.
* Work closely with meeting planners and sales teams for all conferences. This includes finalizing agenda, drafting communications, preparing presentations made by leaders, sending out invitations, and coordinating other conference related activities.
* Budget tracking and updating of planned, accrued and spent expenses.
* Interact with Multi-Financial's registered representatives, financial advisors and their staff to understand their needs and provide specific solutions.
* Identify and leverage ideas, collaterals and communications from across the Advisors Network and work to leverage for Multi-Financial, and vice-versa.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The position is for a Marketing Account Manager within the Marketing and Communications team of ING Advisors Network. The position would support one of its four broker-dealers, Multi-Financial Securities Corporation based in Denver. ING Advisors Network is one of the nation's largest broker-dealer networks and collectively serves more than 10,000 independent registered representatives.
Primary responsibilities of the incumbent would be to plan, organize and manage the implementation of assigned marketing and communications projects and programs, working in a matrix environment. The position reports to the Vice President, Marketing (the Channel Marketing Manager).
