Position Description: In Oct 2005- Pactiv sold a major portion of their flexible & protective packaging business. Product lines in these businesses include air cushioning, air-padded mailers, foam, Hexacomb? kraft honeycomb, flexible packaging, and hospital supplies. In 2004 these businesses had worldwide sales of $838 million. This newly created position will serve as primary administrator of compensation and benefits programs of Pregis. The position will work with the new HR leadership team and Pactiv counterparts to ensure a smooth transition to a new stand-alone company. The position will be based at our new headquarters to be located in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Build your HR career with a new company.The Human Resources Analyst will provide support to the various HR initiatives as part of the new corporate HR organization. Areas of focus will be benefits, compensation, communications, relocation, compliance with government regulations in record keeping and reporting, and employee meeting and event coordination.

Primary administrator of compensation and benefits programs to employees, managers and other staff. Organizes and maintains job documentation and evaluation systems. Completes job evaluations, salary and benefits surveys, interfaces with third party benefit providers, supports 401(k)systems admin. Provides regular analysis and troubleshooting related to compensation & benefits, HRIS, benefit costs, enrollment, internal equity, and governmental compliance. Assists employees & management with problem resolution on various HR programs & processes. Assists with general administrative duties for corporate HR department.
