Multi Media-Web Instructional Designer

CORESTAFF Services, a leading national staffing firm, is currently looking for an experienced Multi Media-Web Instructional Designer for a national mortgage company headquartered in West Houston. This is a direct hire position paying a market competitive salary based on education and experience.

The Designer will design, develop, implement, promote and evaluate instructionally sound, innovative and engaging content for online delivery. Will also either convert traditional training and presentation content to web-based delivery format or develop electronic training modules on new content. And will work in a team environment to conduct corporate multimedia training application assessment activities, content development, and training administration.

Work in all subsidiaries to assist management in conducting ongoing performance assessment regarding the application of computer-based learning projects against on going training to determine effectiveness of multi-media training curriculum.

Work on a team to develop certification and/or required curriculum with instructional designers, consultants, and business line subject matter experts.

Work in a team environment to implement multi-media training content for all professional and business line employees.



Qualifications

Three (3) to 5 years experience in manage in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of computer based learning projects, including at least two years experience designing asynchronous e-learning, project planning and management, experience with leading edge computer based tools in the development and delivery of e-learning.

Establishes and maintains relationships with business unit leaders to identify and satisfy strategic objectives through appropriate computer based or multi-media training solutions.

Ability to apply adult learning theory, instructional design principles and curriculum development using e-learning tools to training programs and evaluate the effectiveness of training by: Proactively identifying needs, designing and developing e-learning programs that meet business objectives, coordinating and executing routine maintenance for existing computer-based programs.

Ability to build relationships with employees and with internal/external partners

Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with all levels of personnel with in the organization.

Strong writing and verbal skills required

Ability to organize and prioritize and manage multiple projects at different stages of completion.

Ability to work independently.
