Multi-tasking HR Manager

CFS has a client that needs the following person for a contract to possible perm assignment. The qualifications are as follows:

HR Service Delivery Manager

 

Responsibilities:

The HR Service Delivery Manager (SDM) for each of the company?s Business Units proactively identifies issues and develops strategic solutions to maximize the effectiveness of the firm's human capital while minimizing exposure and risk. The SDM effectively manages HR projects/initiatives and incorporates impact to the client. Ensures consistency of the firm?s HR policy and program administration by providing linkage between client organization and HR Centers of Expertise. HRSDM activities include consultation in areas of: Total Rewards, Performance Management, Workforce Planning, Learning & Development and other strategic human resource practices.

.Incentive Compensation Cycle and Goal Setting

.Performance Management Process

.Talent Review and Succession Planning

Manager Support -Provide consulting and support services to individual managers in the execution of HR programs and policies including; .Supporting managers in the decision process for hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating of employees .Supporting the resolution of issues and matters escalated from Employee Service Center that involve managers and/or employees

 

.Facilitating manager and employee use of self-service applications

.Providing guidance and direction to ensure compliance with policies and procedures

.Attending management team staff meetings to provide HR perspective on business decisions and update on upcoming activities .Identifying workforce planning needs, analyzing data, present plan to leadership and develop action plan to mitigate workforce issues.

 

.Assisting management with determining appropriate screening criteria, interviewing questions and selection process tools .Working with management to develop staffing plans, providing counsel on staffing issues by acting as a liaison or advisor with several internal business groups, COEs, and hiring managers.

 

Employee Relations/Policy -Support the discipline process and company policy application for both managers and employees including:

 

Communicating the appropriate disciplinary processes

.Monitoring activities

.Support ER in responding to various third party inquiries and claims such as, OFCCP, EEO/AAP, TWC, etc.

 

HR Consulting -Provide HR consulting services to managers on an ad hoc basis:

.Identifying talent gaps and opportunities to improve organizational capabilities for managers supported proactively identifying organizational opportunities to improve work product and output and would include recommending appropriate actions to increase organizational effectiveness

.Coaching and counseling managers on effective leadership skills .Offering HR strategic viewpoints for further success of organization

.Consults with managers and leaders on compensation-related policies and issues, such as pay decisions and may facilitate various courses.

Performs data analysis and utilizes data to make recommendations and create solutions.

Qualifications:

 
Bachelors Degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred
Five + years professional HR experience
Demonstrated success and experience in consulting on Compensation, Performance Management, Staffing, Learning and Development
SPHR or PHR desired
Project management
Knowledge of employment law and current HR trends
Strong business knowledge
Strong consulting skills and processes
Strong Knowledge of associate relations, compensation, performance management and development
Proven success in managing projects and coordinating across organizations
Extensive HR professional and technical experience in order to understand and facilitate the development of world-class HR processes
Strong performance management program experience to include training and development, career planning, leadership development, and building a high performance culture.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Ability to facilitate meetings
Ability to mediate associate relations situations
Ability to write presentations and business cases
