We currently seek an executive-level HR Leader, with the personality and ownership attitude to lead all of our HR and benefits functions. Significant prior experience is necessary, but EFSI places a very high value on intelligence, drive and willingness to learn and grow, making this an excellent opportunity for the up-and-comer who is willing to work hard and make him or herself an indispensable member of our team. About the Opportunity
As the HR Leader, you'll be a key member of a visible, accessible and dedicated service team in a rewarding and high-energy work environment. In addition to leading the HR department, you will coordinate with our operational leaders and our legal and risk management team to oversee labor and employment matters, recruit outstanding personnel, and assist both Service Center and field leadership with employment policy, compliance and similar issues. You will also spearhead our benefits programs, and help Service Center and field personnel keep up to date on current developments in HR laws, regulations and best practices.
This position is based in our South Orange County, Mission Viejo, CA Service Center, and some travel will be required.
Responsibilities
First and foremost, you must be a Culture Leader who eats, drinks, breathes, models and teaches our unique culture across the organizationDesign, lead and market EFSI?s HR policies, principles, products and services to both internal and external clients Influence organizational design, and help align business objectives to our key values and leadership principlesAct as first contact and liaison for difficult employment questions, issues and problems raised by field personnel, and train and lead HR field reps who are also ?first responders?Although our client facilities are almost entirely union-free, you must be able to adroitly handle union issues and attacks, as well as NLRB, DFEH, EEOC and similar agency proceedings and inquiriesOversee all benefits programs (including our self-insured health benefits), negotiate both renewals and new relationships each year, and ensure continuous improvements to benefits offerings for our valued employees Contribute significantly to the curriculum and staffing of Ensign University, our accredited in-house educational program Manage, maintain and continuously improve HR systems, processes and infrastructure Communicate clients' tactical and strategic HR needs to Service Center colleagues Proactively help EFSI manage legal risk relating to labor, employment and benefits
Professional Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
6+ years senior level Human Resources experience in a medium to large corporate environment, with world-class technical expertise in day-to-day HR management; experience in the healthcare field is strongly preferred Organizational development experience, including some experience in a rapidly growing organizationSubstantial expertise in state and federal labor and employment laws and best practicesSubstantial expertise in designing, negotiating and overseeing benefits programs Bachelor?s degree from an accredited institutionProven leadership and interpersonal skills, with a strong team orientation Ability to provide clear direction and produce outstanding results, regardless of who gets the creditA strong and engaging teacher, with exceptional presentation and communications skills Strong organizational, time management and coaching skills Professional demeanor and executive presence Demonstrated track record of positive change in all prior positions

Compensation
EFSI offers an attractive compensation package including a competitive base salary, an incentive plan and stock options. The long-term success of this individual will only be limited by his/her performance.
