Operations Technical Training Lead
This position is accountable for leading and coordinating processes, programs, and systems which enable and facilitate the operator and maintenance skills development across MeadWestvaco.? This individual leads a team that works closely and efficiently with operation and technical training resources to build and organize tools and materials which can serve as resources across the enterprise.? Provides follow through from analysis, design, development (buy or build), and evaluation.?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Consult with BU operation leaders and HR leaders to facilitate assessment and inventory of needs
Organize and lead team of technical training network to create the structures, processes and tools to harness knowledge and resources in machine operations and maintenance across the enterprise
Build/Buy and organize tools and materials which can serve as shared resources across the enterprise
Partner with HRIS to provide requirements for optimization of shared resources and tools
Partner with Procurement for vendor leverage and use of tools, learning offerings that are applicable across the enterprise
Partner with HRSC/GBS to provide seamless learning administrative support for clients
Lead team to determine best fit outsourcing solution for tax credits and incentives. Build process maps to optimally support this effort.
Coordinate efforts with other learning development activities/programs to provide best practices and consistency across the enterprise

Required Skills and Abilities:
Solid experience in operation and maintenance disciplines for mills and converting facilities
Demonstrated change leadership and influencing skills
Solid knowledge of adult learning theories? with experience in the use of blended and action learning methodologies
Solid collaborative skills at a variety of organizational levels
Solid skills in project management, analysis and process mapping skills
Solid ability to analyze, design, development and evaluation learning solutions
?
Education/Experience Required/Desired:
BS/BA degree Business Management, Engineering, performance management, Human Resources, or related field
At least 8-10 years of leadership experience
Experience in technology-enabled training solutions strongly preferred
?
