Dorman Products, Inc., a leading supplier of automotive products and home hardware to the automotive aftermarket and mass merchandise markets. Dorman is a rapidly growing, high energy corporation with a can do attitude. We are seeking a bright, hands-on, people person to work with all levels of the organization. The OD Manager will plan, coordinate, and direct organizational development programs, process improvement activities and training for organization. Must be able to travel if necessary. No relocation assistance available.

Summary : Plans, coordinates, and directs organizational development programs, process improvement activities and training for organization by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Serves as an Internal Consultant to leaders and teams ? collects data and collaborates with clients on design and facilitation of solutions
Facilitates planning sessions using knowledge of techniques and alternative methods to accommodate variable levels throughout the organization
Conducts or assists with process improvement activities
Develop learning experiences (training, coaching, materials, mentoring, etc) by using research and evaluation skills and presents or facilitates activity appropriate for target audience
Provides coaching at all levels as required to support individual development, interpersonal issues or decision making processes and coaches leaders in their interactions with contributors
Clearly communicate OD theory to appropriate audience
Responsible for continuously developing own professional knowledge
Subject matter expert on OD topics including team dynamics and development, corporate life cycles, individual/team/organizational learning, change, process, surveys and other data collection techniques
Conducts needs analysis studies and confers with managers and supervisors to determine learning needs.
Formulates training policies, programs, and schedules, based on knowledge of identified needs, company production processes, business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services
Drafts applications and proposals to submit to fund granting authorities such as government and foundations
Must be able to travel if necessary

Education and/or Experience :
Degree in related field or program certificate; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills :
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees at all levels of the company.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills :
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Database software, Internet. Project Management and process flow software a plus.
