Payroll Coordinator - HR Support

Snelling Staffing is recruiting for a Payroll Processor/HR Support Clerk to work with our client located in Durham, NC.  This small Human Resources Department for the manufacturing company is looking for a candidate that will mature within this role with the company.

 

The employee is responsible for the following:

 

Payroll Responsibilities:

Compile payroll data (hours worked, taxes, insurance to be withheld and employee ID #) from timesheets.

Review hours computed, correct errors, and enter hours into system.

Record changes affecting net wages (excemptions, insurance, 401K etc) to update master payroll record.

Prepare and distribute reports of earnings, vacation/personal hours, taxes, and deductions.

Verify payroll issue checks and issue W-2's.

 

Human Resources Clerk Responsibilities:

Administor the petty cash account and manage the cash box.

Process written and verbal employment verifications.

Prepare and file reports of accident/injury.

Attendance reporting.

 

Qualifications:

Intermediate level skills in both MS Word and MS Excel.

ADP software experience.

Two-year degree and atleast one year administrative experience; or recent college graduate with four-year degree.

 

The compensation range for the position is $20,000 - $28,000.  There is a bonus opportunity of 8% of income.  Offers excellent benefits and schedule flexibility (37.5 hours/week and varying start/finish times).
