Payroll/HR Assistant

Delta Health Systems, one of the leading Third Party Administrators (TPA) for self insured programs in the country with a reputation for flexibility, innovative services and outstanding customer service is looking for a self motivated, dedicated individual to fill the position of:

 

Payroll/HR Assistant

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Compile & input payroll data; such as employee changes, new hire information, vacation time, garnishments, etc.Verify time cards & payroll reports from multi site locations for accuracyContact managers for omitted or incorrect informationProcess weekly payroll data download to Paychex Preview SystemsRun and distribute weekly Payroll Reports to appropriate departments Provides administrative and HR support to the Vice President of Human ResourcesProcess all employee data including new hires and terminations into Employease, Human Resources Information System (HRIS)Prepare new employee filesEnsure new hire files are complete and accurateRun audit reports using Paychex HR Online SystemPerforms other duties as assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:

 

This position requires one to three years experience in payroll administration, some knowledge of principles and practices of human resources and HRIS systems. The ideal candidate must be a solution orientated individual with strong organizational skills, excellent computer and mathematical skills, ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.  Working knowledge of Paychex Processing and Employease is a plus.
