Summary: Responsible for the management of the payroll function for 4000 employees. Must have experience with Ceridian HR/Payroll system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

?  Lead a team of payroll professionals in the timely preparation and administration of a high-volume payroll.

?  Oversee time capture and payroll processing for entire organization, including managing the payroll vendor relationship.

?  Set priorities and workflow within the payroll department

?  Serve as Subject Matter Expert on all aspects of the Ceridian HR/Payroll system

?  Lead a strong audit effort to ensure the integrity, accuracy, reliability and security of the HRIS data.

?  Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.

?  Ensure accuracy of all tax filings.

?  Gather end user requirements and serve as the liaison to IT.

?  Assist with the development and execution of consistent data collection and reporting processes across the business.

?  Work with corporate HR team to facilitate system updates and upgrades, and refinement of processes and reporting capabilities.

?  Responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining company-wide reports/metrics such as headcount and turnover.

?  Participates/leads other special projects on an ongoing basis.

?  Act as an internal data project manager and user consultant to identify data and process issues, work with the relevant owners to improve and redesign existing systems and methodologies.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

?  Prefer a Bachelors Degree in related area such as Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or CPP designation, or comparable professional experience required with a minimum of 8 years experience of ?hands-on? Ceridian payroll experience.

?  Extensive experience with the Ceridian reporting functions.

?  Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of management

?  Ability to multi-task, exercise sound judgment and prioritize conflicting demands of time

?  A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.

?  Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Products.

?  Negative pre-employment drug test.

?  Criminal background check meets Company hiring criteria.
