Payroll Processing Assistant

Description:
Provide problem (SR) resolution support
?*Assist team leaders with complex payroll issue
?*Enter time and other pay data into payroll
?*Set up garnishment and other mandated attachments
?*Analyze gross to net calculations for accuracy including tax withholding calculations
?*Review payroll error reports and defensive queries
?*Calculate workups for overpayments and retroactive pay
?*Process manual (off cycle) payments, reversals and adjustments

Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Required:
?*Basic knowledge of payroll and related HR subject matter
?*Basic understanding of payroll accounting
?*Familiar with benefit deductions and impact on payroll process
?*Basic understanding of internal controls
?*Strong attention to detail and execution
?*Excellent customer service skills
?*Strong verbal & written communication skills
?*Ability to document procedures and follow instructions
