Payroll Tax Specialist

This posotion is responsible for the Enterprise employment tax function, including oversight of the process and compliance.

The duties and responsibilities include:

Responsible for employment tax filings utilizing ADP Tax Services.
Ensure tax filings are timely and accurate.
Interface with Federal, State and Local agencies on Tax matters.
Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvements and efficiencies.
Identify and Resolve employment tax issues, as necessary.
Liaison with Corporate Tax function on employment tax matters.
Serve as Enterprise subject matter expert on employment tax matters.
Advise divisions, as required on employment tax issues.
Manage relationship with ADP Unemployment Compensation Management Services.
Ensure the organization complies with deposit requirements, information reporting and other taxing authority requirements.
Organizes and maintains tax records and conducts tax studies and special projects.

Education:
Bachelors Degree ( B.A. or B.S.)

Mathematical and quantitative skills as they relate to taxation and accounting
Strong analytical skills
Solid verbal and written communication skills

Desired Experience:
Five plus years of corporate employment tax experience
Manufacturing or similar industry experience
Multiple state reporting experience required
