Payroll and Benefits Manager

Reputable company located near Love Field Airport is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Manager

This Individual will be reporting to the CFO and Vice President of Human Resources and will be responsible for administering, processing, and maintaining payroll, benefits, and workers? compensation duties for the company. 

 

Payroll Responsibilities:

* Supervises payroll clerk

* Responsible for resolving payroll discrepancies

* Responsible for reviewing all payroll companies before payroll is generated

* Performs Weekly/Bi-Weekly/Quarterly/Annual Payroll Audits

* Performs Weekly/Bi-Weekly/Quarterly/Annual Tip/Gross Receipt Audits

* Provides Accounting with GL and check reconciliation information

* Reconciliation of ADP Billing Notices

* Monitors ADP billing costs

* Coordinates payroll distribution

* Assists with verification of employment letters

* IpayStatement Technical Support

*ADP Pay card Technical Support

 

Benefits Responsibilities:

* Insurance billing reconciliation

* New hire benefit orientation

* Benefit eligibility notification

* Open enrollment notification

* Open enrollment processing

* Cobra administration

* 401 (k) eligibility notification

* 401 (k) eligibility follow-up

* 401 (k) performance/prospectus notices

* Prepare annual 5500 preparation

* Maintenance of insurance participant files

 

 Worker's Compensation Responsibilities:

* Reports 1st report of injury on all compensation claims

* Fully investigates all workers? compensation claims

* Maintains database of workers? compensation claims

* Regularly visits all company worksites to evaluate safety practices

* Maintains constant contact with Zenith claim examiners regarding status of claims

* Maintains an aggressive return to work program

* Provides quarterly safety training to each company unit

* Works to ensure that as many claims are closed as possible prior to annual audit

* Works with broker to perform a pre-Zenith annual audit of claims

* Provides reports to Unit and Senior level management regarding numbers and resolution of claims

* Has a goal to reduce modifier by a pre-determined reduction schedule

 

This individual will also be performing other duties as may be needed to insure the smooth and efficient operation of the Payroll and Benefits department.

 

This position will be Temp to Hire, offering a generous compensation of $40-$48K/yr.
