  PAYROLL AND HR ASSISTANT

 

Hedberg Aggregates, Inc. is looking for an individual with great organizational skills and a background in Human Resources.  The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years HR experience and 2+ years experience with payroll.  The position will be responsible for processing payroll using ADP software.  Excellent computer skills needed and proficiency with Microsoft programs that include Word, Excel, Outlook.  Access a plus.

The right individual will be extremely organized and able to multi task on a daily basis and be experienced in working with management and employees at all levels.

Additional responsibilities of this position will include:

  - Processing pre-employment and new hire paperwork

  - Facilitate new employee orientations

  - Assist with reporting processes, including monitoring of position descriptions, coordinating interviews and preparing offer letters

  - Gather information, prepare reports, maintain employee information for policy & procedure development and company wide training

  - Help identify process improvements

  - Maintain personnel records, file maintenance and record retention

  - Assist with Work Comp claims and reporting forms

  - Provide administrative support to the HR Manager
