The Milliman Seattle Office is seeking a Pension Analyst II to assist in the administration of pension plans, working in the defined benefit outsourcing service center.  Responsibilities include communication with plan participants, calculation of pension estimates and final amounts, updating and review of pension databases, authorization of pension payments to retirees, and meeting client expectations.  Employee will use company-developed software to maintain pension data and calculate benefits.  Employee will be expected to learn technical and legal requirements in the administration of plans.

?  Efficient worker with good organizational skills

?  Ability and desire to work in a challenging and growing atmosphere

 

Qualifications

?  Bachelors degree preferred, particularly with concentration in math or related field.

?  Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet or database software

?  Ability to learn new computer programs

 

Additional Skills Considered:

?  Client management experience

?  Experience and/or proven skills in computer programming and data processing

?  Math and analytical skills in evaluating numerical relationships

?  Progress toward ASPPA and/or CEBS designations
