Process Instructor

As a Process Instructor you will coordinate, develop, and deliver process training for production and engineering personnel at IM Flash Technologies.

 

Main job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conduct needs analysis to identify required technical/engineering process knowledge and skill level to support both short-term and long-term process training needs for the production and engineering groups. Work with process engineering, process integration and research and development engineering teams to coordinate, develop and design training materials/courses and supplemental training invention programs for current and developing process technologies; develop technical training programs to provide employee development opportunities. Design and develop introductory and intermediate training versions for secondary audiences. Design and develop training evaluations to assess training effectiveness and investigate training resources for content and audience appropriateness. Provide periodic progress reports to IM Flash leadership. Work with area team members to create, define and schedule process classes; use a variety of communication mediums to advertise process training events.



This position requires skill set needed for engineering process development, with experience in instructional design including manuscript preparation, editorial and design layout and publication. The candidate will have strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills for both small and large groups. Strong computer skills and aptitude to learn new computer applications and software programs (Windows, and Unix Operation System, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator and InDesign). Effective project management and time management skills to meet project deadlines. Candidate should possess a background in engineering, material science, chemistry or physics background and preferably 3 years of instructional delivery experience.

 

Required Education:
Degree in Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or related discipline required (or equivalent education and/or work experience required).

 

**Initial training will be conducted in Boise, Idaho or Manassas, Virginia. Position will be located in Lehi, Utah.**
